Who doesn’t love a butterfly? We live near Monarch Beach and all the butterflies that live here have inspired this blog post. They are versatile images to use for birthdays, baby showers, book club meetings, bridal showers, garden parties, weddings etc.

I found this lovely hand made paper butterfly on a Swedish blog, Idemakerit. It would be great as a favor packaging in lieu of a bow, table decor or perched upon a place or escort card. Tied with natural twine and made from old letters and book pages.

Geninne Zlatkis painted these whimsical butterflies on stones. I love the plain white outline ones just as much as the full color ones. I think these would make great party favors for guests to take home.

Linda Albrecht made this delicate paper lantern. I love the use of printed material mixed in with solid colors. These party decorations I don’t think you would want to ever take down.
