I made this for my niece for her high school graduation. The theme was Dr. Suess, “Oh the Place’s You’ll Go”. I used the font and color palette from the book.
Martha Stewart’s team gets it right! Chocolate bar party favors wrapped in childhood photos make for a personalized treat. I’d love to also see these at reunions with vintage yearbook photos.
While on the subject of party favors, these adorable favor bags from Shop Sweet Lulu made of notebook and graph paper are quick and easy for graduation party treats.
Made with felt in varsity letter style, this graduation “Good Luck” banner is a classic by Martha Stewart.

“Brewed” with Knowledge, “Seeped” in Promise”
Design Come True created this cake topper for a Dr. Seuss “Oh the Places You’ll Go” graduation party.
Design Come True also made these party favor bags. “Oh The Places You’ll Go” from Dr. Seuss was the theme for this graduation celebration. Each bag was filled with candy, glow sticks, model airplanes, boats and rocket ships.
Although this is from a wedding celebration, I thought it could also be great for a graduation party as a photo opportunity. If Design Come True made one, it would have a much larger trunk with things packed for college or luggage on top! Photo by Amanda Wilcher.
Unfortunately I don’t know who created this lovely “book” garland but I thought it would be a nice idea to share for a graduation party decorating idea.
A banner made of beautiful rich paper designs spells “Congratulations” artist unknown.
This tissue paper and mylar garland by Confetti System resembles the tassels of graduation caps!
These little 2012 fringed flags by Little Pumpkin Papers are perfect for topping cupcakes!
